Martinique
Hors d'Age
-
Appearance
Amber-coloured like a Bas Armagnac.
-
Nose
Wine-like, with a pleasant alcoholic hint that tickles the nostrils, sharper aromas of coffee powder and liquorice creep up later.
-
Palate
The first impact is hot and alcoholic, with excellent volume, after it is only sweet notes of butter and sugar cane, with a hint of white chocolate.
-
Finish
Full, warm, it ends with a dry finale of great length.
-
Comment
The characteristics of Rhum agricole, distilled from the juice of sugar cane, then "vesou" fermented , reveal themselves in all their glory in this liqueur; an admirable example of the produce of the French Islands.
