Jamaica 26 y.o. Supreme Lord VI

Tasting notes
Appearance: Dark ruby, lively and very intense.
Nose: Soft and caressing sweetness, with intensenotes of beeswax, oak, pepper and cloves.Very rich in esters.
Palate: Spicy (camphor, pepper, black tea), but thepungent feeling of many Jamaican rums iscompletely tamed by the incredibly softfruity sweetness which reminds of cola, chocolate and bergamot.
Finish: Warm, chewy, infinitely long andsatisfying. The notes of very sugared blackand red tea become even more evident.
Comment: Skillful blending of barrels, with a largepercentage of ex-sherry casks, brought theBritish style of this rum to unrivalled levelsof complexity, delicateness and fullness. Thesweetness from the molasses is thuswonderfully enriched by the intenseinfluence of the very long aging in oak.
