Appearance: Deep amber, almost mahogany.
Nose: Deep, smelling of molasses and Spanish brandy, its complexity superior to all, like a sherry from a very old solera.
Palate: Sweet, but complex. Round, yet rewarding, continuously oscillating between treacle and caramel, resolved in a firm finish of spices and wood given its long ageing.
Finish: Very long and rewarding with a woman-conquering sweetness.
Comment: Top-rate raw materials and long ageing confirm the supremacy of Guatemalan Rum, winner of many competitions.
