Martinique Hors D’age Rel. 2010
The characteristics of Rhum agricole, distilled from the juice of sugar cane, then “vesou” fermented , reveal themselves in all their glory in this liqueur; an admirable example of the produce of the French Islands.
Tasting notes
Appearance: Amber-coloured like a Bas Armagnac.
Nose: Wine-like, with a pleasant alcoholic hint that tickles the nostrils, sharper aromas of coffee powder and liquorice creep up later.
Palate: The first impact is hot and alcoholic, with excellent volume, after it is only sweet notes of butter and sugar cane, with a hint of white chocolate.
Finish: Full, warm, it ends with a dry finale of great length.
