Peruano 8 y.o. Rel. 2008

Tasting notes
Appearance: Deep amber almost mahogany.
Nose: Slight prickle at first, giving way to sweet molasses, exotic fruit and a pleasantly
toasty finish.
Palate: Lively and spicy, the glazed fruit and vanilla combine with the molasses in a rewarding sweet caress.
Finish: Long, full with a subtle vein of liquorice root, melting away into coffee and chocolate flavours.
Comment: Substance and lightness for a Rum that can compete head high with the more heralded names. Marries perfectly with a Montecristo no.4.
