A light and easy rum from Trinidad, perfectly suited to the warmer months of the year and dedicated for lovers of subtle flavours. Its aromas of ripe lemons and fragrant lemon peel, bananas and vanilla, dance the fine line between delicate sweetness and clean dryness. Its suggestions of coconut and spring flowers are particularly enticing and refined. In the end, the peppery character imparted by the final year of finishing in fresh Oloroso sherry casks, adds strength and liveliness without compromising the delicate and clean profile.
Tasting notes
Appearance: Delicate amber.
Nose: Light and fragrant, with delicate notes of green bananas, ripe lemons, vanilla and a hint of coconut.
Palate: Just as delicate as the nose, with a soft and not excessive sweetness, and notes of lemons and lemon peel. The flowery freshness of a spring meadow. Very balanced.
Finish: While retaining a fragrant and flowery style, there is a crescendo of drier peppery notes, no doubt thanks to the last year spent in fresh Oloroso casks, that leave the palate clean and stimulated.
Comment: A medium bodied rum with a delicate aromatic character, definitely easy for everyone without ever being trivial. Its lightness and freshness makes it ideal for warmer months.
