Berlin loves Rum Nation’s new bottlings
We are proud to announce that at German Rum Awards 2018, the competition which takes place every year in Berlin during the huge Rumfest, Rum Nation has won two important awards this year too, for two new interesting bottlings introduced to our catalogue in the previous months. We had already won several medals in previous editions, and this year we are once again rather satisfied with the two bronze medals we have achieved.
Rum Nation Jamaica 7yo Cask Strength
won its medal in the “Until 8 YO” category, and we are proud to see that such an extreme rum in terms of alcoholic and aromatic intensity, not sweetened and strictly for connoisseurs, has won in spite of being so extreme.
Rum Nation Ilha da Madeira Natural
Our other bottling which was awarded a medal is very particular too: Rum Nation Ilha da Madeira Natural, in the “agricole blanc” category. Very particular, because traditionally white rums are meant for mixing, while our goal (which we seem to have reached) was to offer a product which would be fit for tasting straight, thanks to its aromatic qualities.
Congratulations to the judges for having acknowledged the quality of two bottlings that we are particularly proud of, and that were meant for the most demanding and open minded connoisseurs!
